S&I Corporation ( CEO Hyung Won-jun, hereinafter referred to as S&I), a comprehensive real estate management company based on PropTech, announced on the 18th that it has hired Yang Ho-cheol, a digital innovation expert, as CDO (Chief Digital Transformation Officer) to achieve its business vision of '1 trillion won in sales' and accelerate growth.

CDO Yang Ho-cheol is an expert who has led technological innovation at major domestic portals such as Kakao, NHN Business Platform (now Naver), and Daum Communications. At Kakao, he was in charge of planning and developing commerce and advertising platform services and was in charge of strategies for the IT business sector. In addition, based on his experience in successfully executing projects in the IT technology field, he served as co-CEO and CTO (Chief Technical Officer) at Kakao Commerce, which was an independent company (CIC) within Kakao. He also founded Blue Whale (now Aimo), an AI-based data processing solution company, and demonstrated his technological expertise and leadership.

CDO Yang will join S&I and lead company-wide digital innovations such as establishing IT strategies, optimizing infrastructure, and managing information security risks. S&I plans to accelerate its sales target of KRW 1 trillion by combining its digital capabilities, strengthened by the hiring of CDO Yang Ho-cheol, with its competitive edge in real estate management. In addition, S&I plans to change the name of its IT division from the existing CIO (Chief Information Officer) to CDO and establish a corporate culture based on IT strategies to spur securing future growth engines.
