Suprema , a company specializing in AI integrated security solutions, announced that it will participate in the Asia integrated security exhibition 'World Security Expo (SECON) 2025' held at KINTEX in Ilsan from the 19th to the 21st.
At this exhibition, Suprema will unveil ‘BioStar X’ for the first time, setting a new standard for integrated security. BioStar X is a solution that integrates access control and video analysis into a single platform, enabling simultaneous performance of AI-based real-time access control, video monitoring, and intelligent video analysis. This enables efficient integrated control with minimal manpower, and in the event of an abnormality, the location and situation can be immediately checked on a single screen and a quick response can be made. In addition, BioStar X is an enterprise-grade solution that supports large-scale user registration of thousands of people and can stably connect and operate multiple devices, enabling efficient security control in various multi-use facilities such as airports, hospitals, government agencies, and smart buildings.
Suprema will showcase advanced abnormal behavior analysis and video analysis technology through the AI algorithm that won the Best Innovation Award at CES 2025. This will provide functions such as intrusion, loitering, and collapse detection, people counting, tailgating, blacklist detection, and missing person search, and an AI crime prevention solution installed in bank ATMs will also be exhibited. This solution can prevent financial crimes by detecting mobile phones, weapons, guns, knives, masks, and facial forgeries when withdrawing cash. In addition, if this algorithm is introduced to schools, dangerous situations can be prevented in advance through functions such as unauthorized intrusion by outsiders, abnormal behavior such as violence, and possession of weapons. In addition, a smart school integrated security solution that combines a visitor reservation system, attendance management system, and academic operation system will also be unveiled.
Suprema also announced plans to expand its business in the unmanned AI security field using AIoT technology. This exhibition will showcase various results of collaboration with partners. In collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Robotics Lab, it will exhibit real-world application cases in Factorial Seongsu, the first commercialized robot-friendly building in Korea, and demonstrate robots detecting and passing through entrance gates in the building by linking Suprema’s CLUe with robot solutions. In addition, it will present a smart building integrated solution that provides functions such as access control, energy efficiency management, and maintenance by linking CLUe with Samsung Electronics’ smart building integrated control solution, SmartThings Pro. Lastly, it plans to present a new direction for unmanned security by demonstrating a technology to control and AI analyze videos shot by drones in real time on Biostar X in collaboration with Near Lab, winner of the CES 2025 Best Innovation Award.
“Suprema is very pleased to present Biostar X, a new AI-based integrated security platform, at this exhibition,” said Choi Jong-kyu, head of Suprema’s domestic business division. “Based on AIoT and cloud technologies, we will collaborate with partners to present next-generation unmanned AI integrated security solutions and suggest a new paradigm in security.” He added, “By integrating various security solutions centered around Biostar X, we will create new business models and expand our areas to various industries to contribute to creating a safer and smarter future society.”
