
Namwon City (Mayor Choi Kyung-sik) and Namwon Youth Maru announced that they are recruiting students for the '2025 Youth Korean Food Entrepreneurship School' targeting young people who wish to start a Korean restaurant.
This program is held under the title of 'Youth Restaurant Entrepreneurship School' and has a different theme every year. Last year, the theme was 'Cafe Entrepreneurship School' and received a great response from prospective entrepreneurs who want to start a cafe.
This year, the '2025 Youth Korean Food Startup School' will teach the ▲AZ of Korean food startup ▲Korean food startup trends ▲menus from Eumsik Dimibang ▲money-making strategies of owners of great restaurants ▲restaurant operation know-how, etc., with the theme of 'Korean food'. In addition, consulting and training will be conducted to share the practical know-how of Korean food researcher Eun-jeong Ko and founders of famous Korean restaurants.
Participation in the training is completely free, and follow-up support, including on-site consulting, will be provided to outstanding graduates.
Applications for participation will be accepted until the 21st, and final selection will be made through document screening and interviews. Applications can be submitted online via the QR code in the poster.
Namwon Youth Maru Center Director Seo Dae-woong said, “The Youth Korean Food Entrepreneurship School is a program that goes beyond simple cooking education and provides systematic support so that it can lead to actual entrepreneurship,” adding, “I hope that many young people who wish to open a Korean restaurant will show interest and participate.”
