HS Hyosung Information Systems (CEO Yang Jeong-gyu), an AI/data infrastructure solution specialist, announced on the 11th that it signed a business agreement with AI infrastructure software company More (CEO Cho Kang-won) to expand the base of AI business and secure competitiveness in a large-scale GPU cluster environment.
MOREH was founded in 2020 with the goal of developing an AI software stack that optimizes the life cycle for hyper-large-scale AI. It is gaining attention in the domestic and international AI markets for its technological prowess, including attracting investments from AMD and KT and forming a strategic partnership with US NPU startup Tenstorrent. It supports the development of low-cost, high-efficiency AI models and has the world’s first AMD GPU-based AI data center construction case.
Recently, as the demand for large-scale language models (LLM) and multimodal AI increases, interest in large-scale AI infrastructure construction and utilization strategies is also increasing. Through this business agreement, HS Hyosung Information Systems and More will strengthen mutual cooperation to expand the base of AI business and secure competitiveness in a large-scale GPU cluster environment. Based on the technological prowess, customer references, and business capabilities of both companies, they plan to expand the market and maximize synergy through joint sales and marketing activities.
Morega's self-developed AI platform 'MoAI' helps to efficiently develop and learn large-scale AI models through advanced parallel processing techniques. As the importance of high-performance computational resources increases for successful AI utilization, it can secure flexibility and expandability by supporting hybrid GPU cluster environment configuration, development convenience, and virtualization of GPU resources.
HS Hyosung Information Systems is recognized for its competitiveness in building high-performance AI infrastructure by securing a number of large customers, advancing its technological capabilities, and focusing on an integrated AI platform that optimizes the characteristics and infrastructure requirements of AI workloads, including AI storage HCSF, GPU servers for high-performance computational resources, and AI/ML Ops solutions.
CEO Cho Kang-won said, “In order to secure competitive AI capabilities, infrastructure capabilities are more important than anything else, and this will allow us to lead the hyper-scale AI era.” He added, “Through this business agreement, we expect to provide the optimal solution for customers’ AI innovation together with HS Hyosung Information Systems, which has provided high-level technological prowess in the IT infrastructure field for 40 years.”
HS Hyosung Information Systems CEO Yang Jeong-gyu said, “Customers’ needs for AX are evolving into the stage of creating real business value and concretizing a monetization model,” and “We expect a strong synergy effect for customers’ AX innovation through close collaboration with Moreh.”
