Ellis School, '2024 Digital Sprout Project' Completed

Ellis School, a public education AI education solution brand of Ellis Group, announced on the 14th that it has successfully completed the Digital Sprout Project in 2024. Through this project, Ellis School has improved the AI and SW capabilities of approximately 6,600 students nationwide, and the operating teacher has achieved the result of receiving the Minister of Education Award for Digital Sprout Merit.

Starting as a leading organization in the Seoul-Incheon area in the first half of 2024, Ellis School has expanded its business nationwide, providing education to a total of 6,610 elementary, middle, and high school students. In addition, it has successfully operated various community education programs in cooperation with organizations outside of school, such as local children's centers and libraries, as well as schools.

In particular, we conducted systematic training for teachers and instructors, providing materials and class operation strategies for AI/SW customized classes. We supported a smooth class environment through pre-workshops, remote training, etc., and teachers’ operational satisfaction was highly evaluated at 4.8 points (out of 5). Through this, we were able to provide quality education to students.

Ellis School, which has been continuously participating in the Digital Sprout Project since 2023, conducted an AI/SW education capacity building program for approximately 650 teachers and instructors, including 291 in 2024. In particular, teacher Saet-byeol Ahn, who received the Minister of Education Award, was highly evaluated for providing opportunities to strengthen digital capabilities to underprivileged students through numerous special class classes and community-linked classes. Ellis School received the Minister of Education Award for two consecutive years, following AIDT Team Leader Seon-ju Cho, who also received the award in 2023.

Beyond SW education, Ellis School has strengthened its career support program, providing students with opportunities to grow into SW talents through real-time online mentoring with IT industry professionals and customized career design guidance for high school students. In addition, after offline education ends, it provides learning content through the Ellis School LXP platform, creating an environment where learning can continue. Ellis School LXP has been well-received among instructors as an optimized platform.

Kim Jae-won, CEO of Ellis Group, said, “In 2024, we plan to resolve the education gap issue by providing AI and SW education to various youth, including multicultural Neulbom School and out-of-school institutions,” and “We will continue to actively support more youth to learn AI and SW education and utilize it in their daily lives through Ellis’ AI-based education platform.”
