South Korea's leading travel and leisure platform Yeogi Eottae announced on the 14th that its brand font, the 'Jalnanche' series, won an award at the 'iF Design Award 2025', a world-renowned design competition.
The 'iF Design Award' is one of the world's top three design awards, started in 1953 by the International Forum in Germany, and innovative design works from all over the world are submitted every year. This year, over 11,000 works from 66 countries competed, and Yeogi Eottae won in the Communication Design Typography category.
Here, the suspicious 'Jalnanche' and 'Jalnanche Gothic' fonts are fonts that reflect the brand personality of the travel and leisure platform well, and were highly evaluated for being developed to capture the joys of travel and everyday life. 'Jalnanche' conveys a lively and friendly feeling based on the harmony of curves and straight lines that appear in Here, and provides a total of 1,700 different characters including not only Korean but also Latin letters, special characters, and dingbats, allowing free expression.
'Jalnanche' has been distributed for free for six years since its release, and has been used in various fields such as webtoon covers, emoticons, and video subtitles. This font helps users express themselves creatively and is widely used in various fields.
Here We Go Brand Experience Design Team 1 Leader Kwon Song-i said, “This award is the result of our efforts being recognized at a global award, and we will continue to work hard to create brand designs that can stimulate the ‘spirit of travel’ in everyday life.”
