Uptempo Global, a language tech company, announced on the 14th that it has been selected as a supplier for the '2025 Data Voucher Support Project' hosted by the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency (K-DATA) for the fourth consecutive year and is recruiting demand companies.
The 'Data Voucher Support Project' is a program that provides data utilization support worth up to 45 million won per company to companies that require data-based business innovation and development of new products and services.
Uptempo Global started out as a multilingual translation and localization service in 2015, and is providing innovative solutions that combine digital transformation (DX) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies based on its accumulated language expertise. Through this, it is simplifying global business operations and production processes, and at CES 2025, it unveiled its 'Language-Tech' solution, demonstrating its outstanding performance in supporting multilingual content production and real-time communication.
The company also utilizes a specialized corpus database accumulated over a long period of time in developing AI automatic translation and global communication solutions. Based on this, it provides data suitable for each support business field according to the needs of the demand company, and supports a wide range of data collection and processing services, from language-based text data to IT-based AI-linked data.
An Uptempo Global official said, “Global communication innovation through AI language solutions is our core strength,” and added that this data voucher project will be an important opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses and large corporations to realize data-based business innovation. In addition, Uptempo Global plans to actively support the global innovation growth of domestic companies by linking with various government support programs such as export vouchers, manufacturing innovation vouchers, tourism innovation vouchers, and the Game Plus project in addition to the data voucher.
The recruitment of demand companies for the 2025 Data Voucher Support Project will be held until March 14, and the project period will be from June 1 to November 30. A total budget of 20.7 billion won has been allocated, and 460 vouchers will be supported. Demand companies can apply through the Data Voucher Portal and Project Management System (PMS).
