
The Korea Radio Promotion Association announced on March 12, 2025 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation to foster future talents in the ICT and broadcasting media fields at the Maria Hall of Catholic Kwandong University.
This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two organizations to respond to changes in the knowledge information era, activate career education and employment support for young people, and foster specialized talents in the ICT and broadcasting fields.
The Korea Radio Promotion Association is a key organization in the ICT and broadcasting media sectors, and has contributed to various support programs and training of professional personnel for industrial development. In particular, it is leading the way in strengthening the competitiveness of the domestic broadcasting and ICT industries through curriculum development, field training support, and providing employment opportunities through linkages with industries.
Catholic Kwandong University has been focusing on practical education and has been continuously operating educational programs that foster innovative talents in the ICT and broadcasting fields. Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to build on their existing efforts and establish a broader cooperative system.
According to the agreement, the two organizations plan to ▲cooperate in developing curricula for training ICT experts, ▲jointly utilize experts and infrastructure for operating ICT field curricula, ▲exchange technology and education information and jointly host seminars, ▲cooperate in planning and promoting joint cooperation projects for the development of the ICT industry, etc.
Jeong Heung-bo, executive vice president of the Korea Radio Promotion Association, said, “This agreement will be an important turning point for nurturing talent in the broadcasting and ICT fields,” and added, “Based on our efforts and experience to date, we plan to discover and support professional manpower who will lead future industries together with Catholic Kwandong University.”
Through this agreement, the two organizations will further strengthen their support for young people’s career paths and employment, and solidify their cooperative system for the sustainable development of the ICT and broadcasting industries.
