Grand Ventures (CEO Han Jeong-gyu), a VC (venture capital firm) specializing in edutech, content, and impact, has completed a bridge investment (valuation, etc. undisclosed) in Munda (CEO Shin Ji-hyun) . Munda had previously attracted seed investment from D.Camp, VNTG, and Owl Ventures in 2022, and this bridge investment was supported by Grand Ventures and Jeonbuk National University Technology Holding Company Patent Law Firm Support.
Mundah operates a B2B music performance curation platform called 'Bravi!' that supports companies (or organizations) to actively utilize classical and other music performances for business purposes. Through the 'Bravi!' service, Mundah analyzes performance data that fits the company's situation and purpose, such as employee welfare, VIP customer management, and brand image enhancement, and curates the data using AI, and directly plans and produces customized performance content based on the curation results. In particular, it provides a major feature in that it provides a one-stop solution to the inconveniences that companies have experienced in the existing music performance market by automatically generating and providing performance result analysis data as well as reporting documents for upper-level approval to company practitioners.
Moonda founder and CEO Shin Ji-hyun said, “We plan to focus this investment on advancing AI-based performance data analysis and developing performance content tailored to companies,” adding, “In the future, through Bravi, we will accelerate innovation in the B2B music performance market by providing solutions that make it easier for companies to utilize performances and lead to actual business results.”
Grand Ventures CEO Han Jeong-gyu, who decided on this investment, said, “The music performance market has been growing rapidly since the pandemic, but Mundah clearly identified the problems and limitations of the existing B2B performance market, which was fragmented and dominated by agencies, and it was impressive that they persistently dug into the market even in difficult situations and eventually found a valid business model and began to be chosen by customers.” He added, “In addition to the founder’s capabilities and vision, we highly evaluated Mundah’s potential to expand beyond a simple B2B performance platform to a cultural and arts IP content business and its potential in the global music market.”
He continued, “Grand Ventures is the CVC (corporate venture capital) and strategic investment firm of Omega Point (CEOs Lee Choong-ki and Han Jeong-gyu), which has created the nation’s best critical thinking mathematics and gifted education brand ‘Simmath’ for 25 years. Through this partnership, we will work together to devise business development and expansion strategies for Munda and provide full support for its growth.”
