
Korea Credit Data (KCD) and Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation announced on the 13th that they signed a business agreement (MOU) to support the sustainable growth of small and medium-sized businesses in the Chungnam region. Through this agreement, the two parties plan to pursue various cooperative projects to strengthen financial and non-financial support for small and medium-sized businesses in the Chungnam region.
The two companies plan to cooperate to improve the guarantee support process to enable faster and more precise support. The agreement includes ▲providing various business cooperation opportunities for the success of small and medium-sized businesses in Chungnam ▲improving the credit guarantee support process through data exchange ▲collaborating on customized programs to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses ▲supporting the establishment and operation of policies based on small and medium-sized business data ▲collaborating on public relations to raise awareness of support programs, etc.
Based on this agreement, Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation plans to significantly expand non-financial sector support for small business owners. In particular, it plans to increase the scale of management guidance support by 42% compared to the previous year and provide customized education and consulting to 2,100 small business owners. In addition, it plans to expand financial welfare support projects for the financially vulnerable and support for fostering young entrepreneurs and corporate small business owners.
Korea Credit Data has been providing breaking small business data to Chungcheongnam-do since 2023 to analyze changes in local commercial districts and the small business management environment. Through this, Chungcheongnam-do has been actively responding to economic situations by identifying changes in sales of small businesses, growth and decline trends by industry, and changes in consumption patterns by region in real time.
Korea Credit Data is providing data-based financial and management solutions to small business owners nationwide through the formation of the 4th Internet Bank Consortium (Korea Soho Bank) and the Cash Note service, and is expanding collaboration with various local governments and public institutions, including Chungcheongnam-do. Through this agreement, it plans to support small business owners in the Chungcheongnam-do region to build a more effective management environment.
Cho So-haeng, Chairman of the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, said, “This agreement is significant in that it is a public-private cooperation to help small business owners overcome their management crisis,” and added, “The Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation will utilize the abundant data from Korea Credit Data to provide data-based, effective policy support to small business owners in Chungcheongnam-do.”
Kim Dong-ho, CEO of Korea Credit Data, said, “This is a case that proves that cooperation with South Chungcheong Province plays an important role in establishing customized policies based on data,” and added, “In the future, Korea Credit Data plans to cooperate with the South Chungcheong Credit Guarantee Foundation to support all small business owners nationwide, not only with policies for small business owners, but also with financial services.”
