Gosung Engineering participates in '2025 Smart Factory/Automation Industry Exhibition'

Industrial robot smart factory company Gosung Engineering (CEO Choi Chang-shin) announced on the 12th that it will participate in the '2025 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition (AW2025)'.

Gosung Engineering will publicly demonstrate 'cognitive robot MOMA', 'smart chair', 'thermal therapy device', etc., which are applied with 'On Device Offline AI' technology. On Device Offline AI is a technology that embeds AI-based operation models in robots or other unmanned equipment, enabling independent and safe operation even in offline environments without internet connection. It can establish and execute autonomous plans without network dependency, and enables efficient command transmission using minimal data.

The cognitive robot MOMA is a mobile collaborative robot (Mobile Manipulator) that can work independently in complex manufacturing processes without the assistance of workers. It features advanced voice recognition and autonomous judgment to process commands, and uses a 2D/3D VISION system to analyze paths and minimize errors. MOMA, capable of detailed work with high precision, is designed to maximize efficiency in various processes beyond the assistance of workers.

Smart Chair is a wheelchair that can move autonomously with just voice commands and can be operated without the Internet, so it can accurately arrive at the destination even if communication is cut off during the move. Smart Chair reflects the user's needs in real time to optimize the movement route and ensure safe movement. In this exhibition, users can directly get on the smart chair, give commands, and see the process of arriving at the designated location.

The thermotherapy device is a robot that provides customized thermotherapy to patients, and can accurately set the treatment area and time according to the operator's voice command. In addition, even if the patient's lying position changes, it can find the exact location and treat it through vision recognition, so it can treat more patients at the same time, and the robot can quickly identify the individual needs of the patient and convey the information to the operator.

Rehabilitation robots are robots that help improve muscle strength, mobility, and joint range of motion by assisting with physical therapy exercises and promoting rehabilitation for patients with stroke, spinal injury, etc. When a patient undergoes rehabilitation, they analyze movement patterns, intensity, and number of repetitions to provide a customized rehabilitation program for the patient.

In addition, Gosung Engineering, which began collaborating with data analysis and AI specialist DDE last year, will also present a video on new technologies it is developing in collaboration with DDE.

Gosung Engineering was established in 2004 as a semiconductor equipment parts supplier and expanded its business area to robotics engineering in 2018. It has participated in numerous exhibitions, including '2024 Roboworld', to showcase its excellent technological prowess. Last year, it signed a contract with Samsung Securities as the lead underwriter and is currently pursuing an IPO with the goal of entering the KOSDAQ market in 2026.

“We are delighted to be able to showcase Gosung Engineering’s technological prowess through our participation in AW2025,” said Choi Chang-shin, CEO of Gosung Engineering. “In particular, our on-device AI technology that can be operated offline is attracting attention in the industry.”

Meanwhile, AW2025, held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from the 12th to the 14th, is the largest domestic exhibition showcasing the latest technologies and solutions for smart factories, such as factory automation and machine vision. Gosung Engineering has set up an exhibition booth in the lobby of COEX Hall D.
