
Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation and MY Social Company (hereinafter referred to as MYSC) are publicly recruiting companies to participate in the '2025 K-Camp Jeju 4th Acceleration Program' targeting startups in the Jeju area.
K-Camp Jeju is a Jeju regional innovative startup growth support program that began in 2022 to revitalize the Jeju startup ecosystem and innovate the region and industry.
MYSC is a social innovation accelerator, impact investment, and consulting organization, and an operator of TIPS and LIPS, supporting startup fostering and financing. Since 2019, it has supported startup fostering in Jeju and invested a total of KRW 7.75 billion in 27 Jeju-based companies.
The 4th K-Camp Jeju Accelerating Program will be recruiting participating companies until 2:00 PM on the 26th, and will select a final 8 companies through document screening and interviews.
Applicants must be a corporation headquartered in Jeju Island and have been in business for less than 6 years (excluding prospective entrepreneurs). Companies wishing to participate in the program can apply through the online recruitment notice page.
This program will be held until August for selected companies, and will provide essential startup capacity enhancement training, MYSC-specific and field-specific mentoring based on company diagnosis, networking support, and opportunities to advance to Demo Day. In addition, excellent companies will be linked to direct investments of more than 100 million won and follow-up investments.
Through its three terms of operation, K-Camp Jeju has fostered a total of 26 Jeju innovative startups, and achieved the results of attracting direct and follow-up investments worth 15.6 billion won, increasing sales by 25.2 billion won, and creating 69 new jobs.
In particular, through participation in the previous K-Camp program, lifestyle brand ‘Gyul Medal’ themed on Jeju citrus, ‘Dive In Group’ combining accommodation and culture and arts, ‘Peter Peter’ pet healthcare service, and ‘Jacqueline’ practicing eco-friendly bedding recycling succeeded in attracting direct investment from MYSC.
Kang Shin-il, CEO of MYSC Jeju, said, “K-Camp Jeju has created meaningful results by growing together with local innovative startups for the past three years,” and added, “This year, we will do our best to cooperate and support Jeju startups so that they can strengthen their competitiveness and expand into the global market through differentiated acceleration.”
