Innogrid , a company specializing in cloud computing and digital transformation (DT), announced on the 12th that it had won the Winner in the Communication category at the 'Asia Design Prize 2025', an international design award.
The Asia Design Prize is Asia's largest international design award ceremony that began in 2016. This year, 1,879 works from 22 countries around the world were submitted. A 42-member jury comprised of design experts selected the final winners through a fair evaluation in three categories: industrial design, space/architecture, and communication.
Including this award, Innogrid has already received attention at international design awards. Previously, Innogrid won the User Interface category at the 'Red Dot Design Award' for its cloud solution SECloudit. SECloudit presents a standard UI design for cloud operation management through a user-friendly design, and has led to improved cloud observability functionality.
In this year’s Asia Design Prize, Innogrid’s character “INNO CREW” was selected as the ‘Winner’ in the communication category. Innogrid consists of five character families related to the cloud, and each character helps to easily explain cloud solutions and approach the intangible service called cloud in a friendly manner.
In particular, Inno Crew appeared in a cartoon introducing InnoGrid's solutions, and received many positive responses by explaining the background and technology of the company's IaaS solution development in an easy-to-understand manner. In addition to the cartoon, Inno Crew is actively used in various marketing activities such as the company's welcome kit, internal campaigns, and external promotional videos. Through this, InnoGrid effectively conveys its corporate identity based on technology.
In the future, Innogrid plans to produce existing 2D characters into 3D and use them as promotional and marketing content. Innogrid’s Product Design Team Leader Sangjun Yoon said, “We are honored to have won an international design award with a corporate character, which is rare in the IT industry,” and “We will continue to do our best to provide high-level design and communication content that matches our technologically superior solutions.”
