HireX and WiPolaris have joined hands to open the era of smart AI unmanned stores. The two companies have established a cooperative system that innovatively increases store management efficiency by connecting unmanned stores and management platforms. This collaboration is made possible by linking HireX’s unmanned store total care service ‘Brownie’ and WiPolaris’ unmanned platform ‘Ketsup’.
The two companies announced on the 12th that they signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) to expand the unmanned store market and build an efficient operating environment. Through this agreement, HireX's 'Brownie' and WiPolaris' 'KetsUp' will be combined to provide management functions such as in-store management, behavior detection for theft prevention, automatic payment without barcode scanning, and management functions that allow real-time confirmation of operating status.
Hi-Ex's 'Brownie' provides a total care service that minimizes the workload of the owner based on over 20 industries and over 500 management experiences in the unmanned store management field. It boasts a high satisfaction rate with a 96% reuse rate as it shares the management process in real time through its own store management app and can respond quickly when problems occur.
WiPolaris' 'KetsUp' is a platform that maximizes store operation efficiency and provides an environment where customers can focus on shopping by utilizing vision AI-based data analysis and customer behavior prediction technology. This platform implements an automatic payment system through image analysis, analyzes real-time customer purchase patterns to reduce operating costs, and improves customer convenience. Unlike existing barcode scanning kiosks or manpower-centered operation methods, AI-based automatic unmanned payment systems and store operation platforms can dramatically improve store efficiency.
Kim Seung-yeon, CEO of WiPolaris, said, “The linkage between Brownie and Catsup will realize an automated store operation model and establish itself as an attractive business,” and added, “We plan to further develop the unmanned store ecosystem by strengthening commercial-level technology development and business cooperation based on video analysis technology in the future.”
In addition, Yang Kyung-jun, CEO of Krypton, a domestic accelerator that invested in HyreX and WiPolaris after seeing their early potential, said, “We highly value the results of Krypton’s portfolio companies creating synergy by leveraging their respective strengths, and we expect them to play a leading role in the industrial ecosystem.”
