WeBring, which operates a foreigner living convenience service and integrated concierge platform, announced on the 11th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with global startup agency The Garrison. The purpose of this agreement is to build a cooperative network to support foreign and domestic startups and to promote joint business for entry into the global market.
Through this agreement, Webring and The Garrison have agreed to cooperate in various areas, including ▲consulting and mentoring for domestic and international startups ▲establishing a business network for entering the global market ▲providing customized services for foreigners ▲joint marketing and promotional activities ▲discovering and promoting cooperative projects.
Webring currently provides various services for foreigners, including car rentals, insurance, accommodations, visa consulting, and Korean language education, and plans to provide more comprehensive support to foreign founders and startups through this collaboration. On the other hand, The Garrison provides consulting and mentoring services for domestic and international startups, and actively supports network building for entering the global market.
“Webring’s goal is to go beyond simply providing convenient living services and to support the continued growth of foreigners living in Korea and global startups,” said Webring CEO Cho Mi-young. “Through our collaboration with The Garrison, we will spare no effort in providing various supports to help foreign entrepreneurs settle down more stably and succeed in the global business environment.”
“Through this agreement, Webring’s network of foreigners and The Garrison’s startup consulting capabilities will be combined to form a more powerful global business ecosystem,” said Han Robin, Director of Operations at Webring. “We will strive to provide startups and foreigners with real business opportunities through regular collaborative projects and network building in the future.”
Park Jae-young, co-CEO of The Garrison, emphasized, “In order to expand the Korean startup market globally, cooperation with foreign startups is essential, and through this cooperation with Webring, we will lay the foundation for foreign startups to quickly settle in and grow in the domestic market.”
