Last year, this technology was the first in the industry to receive the New Technology Certification (NET) from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s National Institute of Standards and Technology, and holds 8 related patents, boasting unrivaled competitiveness.
As of now, Olymplaite has achieved cumulative investment attraction of KRW 26.2 billion and cumulative sales of KRW 60 billion, recording an average annual growth rate of 47%. In addition, its growth potential has been recognized by being selected as an Asia Pacific high-growth company for two consecutive years (2022-2023).
Based on XR technology, Olymplanet has been building core infrastructure for the expansion of XR content by developing three major businesses: B2B total XR solution 'ELYPECS', cloud-based XR content software 'XROO', and XR fandom platform 'XROMEDA'.
Kwon Jae-hyun, CEO of Olymplaat, said, “In order to popularize XR content, an environment where people can easily enjoy it without the constraints of separate software installation or high-performance/expensive devices is essential.” He continued, “Olymplaat is a company that has secured the core technologies to meet these needs, and has built the only ‘all-in-one ecosystem’ in Korea that includes solutions, software, and platforms. In the future, we will create an ecosystem where companies, public institutions, and general users can easily access and utilize XR content, and become a company that leads the growth of the global XR market.”
