Beauty Corporation (hereinafter “Beauty”), a global distribution and brand marketing company, announced on the 11th that it has signed an exclusive offline distribution contract with Chinese beauty brand UNNYCLUB in Japan.
UNNYCLUB is a major beauty brand under the PELEY Group, and has grown rapidly since its establishment in 2014 based on a philosophy of minimalist design and high-quality products. The PELEY Group is expanding its global distribution network by integrating and managing the research and development (R&D) and operations of multiple brands, and recorded a GMV of approximately KRW 570 billion (USD 390 million) as of 2020.
Through this contract, Beauty will oversee UNNYCLUB’s overall distribution in Japan and support local marketing, branding, and promotional strategies. UNNYCLUB will showcase its products in major offline stores in Japan, including Ecco’s, Don Quijote, and Loft. The industry expects this distribution contract to be a significant turning point for UNNYCLUB’s successful establishment in the Japanese market.
The Japanese beauty market is expected to grow to approximately 50 trillion won (32.9 billion dollars) by 2025. As demand for high-quality and innovative products increases, domestic and foreign beauty brands are expected to actively enter the Japanese market. Beauty is successfully leading UNNYCLUB’s entry into Japan and aims to expand its customer base in the future.
A Beauty official said, “UNNYCLUB is a brand that has already proven its high sales and brand power in the global market,” and added, “Through this contract, we will do our best to get closer to Japanese consumers and expand brand awareness.”
