
Pluglink , an electric vehicle charging platform operator, announced on the 11th that it has been finally selected as a subsidy operator for the 2025 electric vehicle slow charging facility project hosted by the Ministry of Environment. With this selection, Pluglink has achieved the result of being selected as a business implementation organization for the fourth consecutive year in recognition of its expertise in public housing and residential complex specialized charging service operation solutions.
The Ministry of Environment's electric vehicle charging facility subsidy project is a project that supports the installation costs of electric vehicle chargers and charging solutions for apartment complexes and businesses. After evaluating comprehensive capabilities from charging facility installation to after-care, subsidies can be received when installing chargers through the Ministry of Environment-designated implementing agencies selected.
PlugLink currently operates approximately 16,000 electric vehicle chargers nationwide and has been the first in the industry to operate a smart control charger that complies with the Ministry of Environment’s fire prevention policy. Through this, it is leading the way in building a safer and more convenient electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
“Pluglink is providing a stable charging environment and a user-centered charging platform based on everyday charging infrastructure,” said Kang In-cheol, CEO of Pluglink. “We plan to further solidify our position in the industry by expanding the cumulative number of operating chargers to over 30,000 and attracting investments worth 50 billion won this year.”
