
Investment specialist accelerator CNT Tech (CEO Jeon Hwa-seong) is recruiting promising domestic tourism companies to participate in the '2025 Tourism Global Challenge Program'.
The Tourism Global Challenge is a program hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Tourism Organization, which supports the strengthening of global capabilities and the establishment of a foundation for overseas expansion of promising domestic startups with innovative technologies and services in the tourism sector. This year, promising companies in the three major tourism sectors (▲Tourism DX solution export type ▲Inbound/outbound tourism exchange type ▲Tourism SDGs contribution type) will be selected, and the main support contents include ▲Domestic and overseas promotion support ▲On-site visit road shows ▲Providing overseas investment attraction opportunities, etc. In particular, excellent participating companies will be provided with direct investment (over KRW 1 billion) from CNT Tech and TIPS linkage benefits.
CNT Tech has been operating the Tourism Global Challenge program since 2021, contributing to the revitalization of the tourism industry ecosystem by supporting the capacity building and overseas market entry of tourism startups. It has achieved the result of producing the best team for four consecutive years, and the fostered tourism companies are showing remarkable growth, such as attracting 96.1 billion won in investment, achieving 390.7 billion won in sales, and creating 877 jobs. CNT Tech formed a tourism investment association worth 21.5 billion won in 2023 and is currently conducting full-cycle investment in tourism companies from the initial to the takeoff stage, and plans to invest more than 1 billion won in companies participating in the program this year.
Companies selected for this program will be given the opportunity to visit the local markets of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), China, and Vietnam, where CNT Tech is focusing. They will also participate in various global expansion programs such as ▲support for matching buyers and investors ▲participation in global conferences ▲global demo days with local investors.
The recruitment target is a promising tourism company with global expansion capabilities and will that meets certain conditions such as performance, scale, and overseas activity experience in the past three years.
