Metanet Platform has once again proven its competitiveness as a multi-cloud management service (MSP) company by acquiring the 'Advanced Tier Service Partner' qualification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is interpreted as a result of providing real value in the market based on customer-tailored cloud services and outstanding technical capabilities.
AWS's 'Advanced Tier Partner' status is the second highest level among AWS service partners, and is given to companies that provide AWS-certified professionals and excellent customer experiences. Metanet Platform achieved 'Select Tier' in June of last year, and was promoted to Advanced Tier in just nine months, showing rapid growth in the AWS business sector.
Metanet Platform successfully completed a project to migrate the IT infrastructure of the corporate insurance agency (GA) 'Goodrich' to the AWS cloud in a short period of time last year. Through this, it created the first case of IDC cloud conversion in the domestic GA industry. In addition, it collaborated with AWS Disaster and Disaster Recovery System (DRS) and Veritas to convert the VMware environment of a commercial bank to AWS, thereby greatly improving customer satisfaction.
While most MSP companies focus on AWS infrastructure management, Metanet Platform has a wide range of operational and management capabilities, including AWS-based security management services as well as infrastructure and third-party solutions. In particular, Metanet Platform is the only company in Korea that has a partnership (ECIRA: Enhanced Cloud Incident Response and Automation) that can provide AWS-based security management services.
Metanet Platform plans to further strengthen its collaboration with AWS and provide customized construction and operational support to companies preparing for AWS transition or experiencing difficulties in operation and management. In particular, it plans to continuously expand AWS services, focusing on the financial sector, including life insurance companies and non-life insurance companies.
