
Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereafter Gyeongbuk Center) announced that it will support participation in the ‘Connected Market’ in cooperation with Muji Co., Ltd. (hereafter Muji) to expand sales channels and raise awareness of local startups.
The 'Connected Market' is a representative project where Muji discovers regional values through collaboration with local communities and connects consumers and producers. It started in 2020 and is now in its 120th year. In particular, 111 companies from 9 local governments across the country participated in the 100th Connected Market, and 11 participating companies from the Gyeongbuk Center received a lot of attention.
This 'Connected Market' will be held for two days from Saturday, March 15th to Sunday, March 16th at the booth in front of Muji on the 2nd floor of Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, and 11 local brands from Gyeongju will participate.
At the Gyeongbuk Center, three companies will participate: ▲Jin A F&C (CEO Song Yeon-sil, smoked fish sauce and hot sauce), ▲Damda Today (CEO Seo Ye-ji, all-purpose sauce using Gyeongju specialties), and ▲Ijiyeok (CEO Ham Ji-yoon, handmade chocolate using Gyeongju cherries).
A Gyeongbuk Center official said, “We expect this event to be an opportunity for local companies in the region to meet consumers in the metropolitan area directly, increase brand awareness, and enhance market competitiveness. The center will also actively support the growth of local companies.”
