Infobank, BDC Accelerator and 'IB-BDC Public Technology Commercialization Specialized Demo Day' Held

Infobank presents a new paradigm for national technological innovation by creating innovative results through industrial grafting of public technology and establishing a systematic support ecosystem for the continuous growth and development of promising startups.

iAccel, the investment division of Infobank Co., Ltd., a provider of AI solutions such as AI Contact Center (AICC), AI-based messaging service, and AI Chatbot, announced that it will hold an 'IB-BDC Public Technology Commercialization Specialized Demo Day' for innovation in public technology commercialization with BDC Accelerator on the 11th at 3 PM.

This demo day will be held by selecting 8 companies out of a total of 18 companies invested in by the 'IB-BDC Public Technology Commercialization Innovation Fund 1st Association' jointly operated by Infobank and BDC Accelerator, and will be live-streamed online to investors and technology innovation officials nationwide through BDC Accelerator's official YouTube channel.

The investment association operates in the form of a mother fund contribution, and aims to focus investment on small and medium-sized venture companies that commercialize technology from public research institutes, companies that have been judged successful in national research and development projects, and start-ups in the field of deep science.

In particular, we plan to focus on discovering and supporting innovative companies that actively apply patents, utility models, and technological know-how held by public institutions to industrial sites, and by investing more than 80% of the total investment amount in innovative companies, we plan to contribute to the creation of a national public technology-based innovation ecosystem.

Companies leading innovation in various industries such as IT finance, AI, healthcare, aviation, and bio will directly present their innovative technologies and future business visions to investors through IR pitching.

The major pitching startups are ▲Frefins (IT/finance combined rental solution), ▲Through the Liar (AI idol development and production), ▲Smaxh (tennis-based sports tech), ▲OZ Sepa (oil-water separation production solution), ▲Staybility (shared villa service), ▲Medivel Bio (digital healthcare skin analysis), ▲Allwin Air (aviation AI platform), and ▲Vaxdigm (microbial protein production platform).

iExcel CEO Hong Jong-cheol said, “Through this Demo Day, we will do our best to promote the convergence of public technology and industry and create a sustainable growth environment for promising startups,” and “We will continue to pursue multifaceted support so that technology-based companies can stably settle into the market and secure competitiveness.”

Meanwhile, Infobank plans to hold a raffle event for YouTube online live attendees to commemorate this 'IB-BDC Public Technology Commercialization Specialized Demo Day', and provide public technology-based startups with opportunities to commercialize their research and development results and expand their businesses.
