
Le Mon, a startup that provides AI-based customer management solutions, announced on the 7th that it signed an 'MOU on AI service application for revitalizing small business owners in Busan Gupo Market' with the Busan Gupo Market Merchants Association.
The signing ceremony took place on the 6th at the Gupo Market in Busan, and was attended by Park Jong-dae, Chairman of the Gupo Market Merchants Association, and Lee Hee-yong, Co-CEO of Le Mong. This agreement aims to strengthen the digital competitiveness of small business owners in local traditional markets and establish a win-win model through AI-based customer management and marketing solutions.
Le Mong plans to provide its AI service 'Dummong' to small business owners in Gupo Market. 'Dummong' can integrate customer reviews from not only delivery apps but also offline stores such as Naver Place, and based on this, it supports effective marketing functions.
Currently, there are over 850 stores in operation in Gupo Market, and Le Mong plans to improve the operational efficiency of these stores and support small business owners to communicate more smoothly with customers. In addition, it is expected to have the effect of opening another store in the traditional market by supporting registration and operation for merchants who have not registered their stores online.
Le Mong will also provide AI-based consulting to improve the market environment by analyzing reviews from various platforms (Naver, Google, Kakao Map, etc.) operated by the Gupo Market Merchants Association. Through this, it plans to improve the satisfaction and brand value of the entire market.
Le Mong currently provides services to approximately 5,200 self-employed individuals, and through this agreement, it plans to actively support the digital transformation of small business owners in traditional markets. Le Mong plans to gradually apply AI-based customer management services based on this MOU.
Park Jong-dae, chairman of the Gupo Market Merchants Association, said, “We expect that the customer management solution using AI technology will be of real help to small business owners in traditional markets,” and added, “We will provide support so that even merchants who are not familiar with the digital environment can easily utilize it.”
