
Future School, which provides the knowledge business platform 'LiveKlass', announced on the 7th that it has closed its Series A investment round with a total of 5 billion won.
In this Series A round, Futureschole received an additional investment of KRW 4 billion from Murek Partners in August and an additional investment of KRW 1 billion from existing investor TVT Partners in January. With this investment, Futureschole's cumulative investment amount has exceeded KRW 8 billion. In 2022, Futureschole attracted KRW 2.5 billion in pre-Series A investment from TVT Partners, HB Investment, and Impact Square.
'Live Class' provided by Future School is a knowledge business platform service that allows users to create their own knowledge and experience in various forms of content such as real-time lectures, videos, and e-books to generate revenue. This platform allows users to open their own website and sell various content products including lectures through simple settings. In addition, it supports anyone to easily start a knowledge business by applying a convenient payment system and the lowest commission rate in the industry.
TVT Partners Investment Director Lee Chung-wook said, “We are honored to participate in LiveClass as the first investor in 2021 and make a follow-up investment,” and explained the reason for the investment, saying, “Along with the reorganization of the creator economy market, we have seen LiveClass’ annual growth rate of more than three times, and have confirmed its competitiveness as an optimized service for knowledge creators.”
