Zenzen AI attracts 12 billion won in investment

GenGenAI (CEO Ho-jin Cho), an AI synthetic data technology company, has succeeded in attracting 12 billion won in Series A investment. KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries) and one other company participated in this investment, and the company has attracted a cumulative investment of approximately 17 billion won to date.

GenGenAI is a company that develops synthetic data solutions based on generative AI. It uses domain-specific generative AI technology such as national defense, security, and control to quickly generate high-quality data that is difficult to collect in a real environment. Its characteristics are that the data collection period can be reduced by up to 90% and costs by 50%, which significantly increases the efficiency and accuracy of AI data learning. Based on its differentiated technological prowess, GenGenAI was selected in the AI field of ▲'Defense Innovation 100' in 2024 and ▲won the AI field innovation award at ▲'CES 2025' for its synthetic data generation platform 'GenGenStudio'.

Zenzen AI is currently actively collaborating with domestic defense industry companies such as KAI, including the military, the Agency for Defense Development, and others to create synthetic data for securing advanced AI-based power. In the automotive sector, it is working closely with automakers and parts suppliers in Korea, Europe, and the U.S. to supply synthetic data necessary for the development of autonomous driving, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and driver monitoring systems (DMS).

With this investment attraction as a stepping stone, Zenzen AI plans to advance its synthetic data generation technology applicable to various weapon systems in the defense sector, as well as its technology for selecting and producing good synthetic data from an AI learning perspective. In addition, it plans to invest in GPU infrastructure and recruit talent necessary for AI learning.

Cho Ho-jin, CEO of Zenzen AI, said, “The defense and defense industry are representative fields where it is difficult to collect actual data and requires high accuracy and diversity. We have confirmed the possibility of providing a powerful solution in this area through synthetic data.” He added, “It is very meaningful that we were able to attract investment from a major defense company even in these difficult investment environments. We will produce various high-quality data ranging from land, sea, air, and space for the development of K-defense.”

Meanwhile, Zenzen AI, established in January 2022, is a team of experts with extensive research experience and practical capabilities in the fields of image processing and computer vision. In particular, its strength lies in its experience in handling image and video data in depth at AI technology startups, and its technological prowess was recognized when it attracted investment from Naver D2SF just three months after its establishment.
