Luxury beauty vertical service R.LUX announced on the 7th that it won the grand prize in the user experience (UX) category at the 'iF Design Award 2025', a German design award.
The 'iF Design Award' is a world-renowned design award ceremony hosted by the 'International Forum' in Germany, and is considered one of the top three global design awards along with the 'Red Dot Design Award' and 'IDEA'. The award selects winners by evaluating design differentiation and influence in nine categories including products, communication, user experience (UX), and interior. In particular, the user experience (UX) category has been won by global tech companies such as Apple, Google, Samsung Electronics, and Microsoft.
The iF Design Award jury praised Aluxe as “a service that allows consumers to easily find luxury products that match their preferences, and provides a consumer-centered, personalized product recommendation system.” They also mentioned that “Aluxe has redefined luxury shopping by combining the heritage of luxury brands with innovative services such as ‘24-hour delivery’ and ‘gifting.’”
Allux has built a customized app environment that provides a luxury experience that can be enjoyed in everyday life based on Coupang's innovative technology. While creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere with a black and white concept, it has implemented a simple interface so that consumers can focus on the intrinsic value of the product. It provides an immersive experience as if shopping in an actual store through product pages, high-quality images, and Allux-exclusive videos that reflect the identity of each luxury brand, and provides a convenient experience where purchases can be completed with just a few touches through a simple payment system. This design that prioritizes customer convenience received high praise.
An Allux representative said, “We are honored to receive this prestigious, world-renowned design award,” and added, “We will continue to strive to create a better customer experience in the future.”
