AISPERA Presents Future of Cyber Security at 'CIPC 2025'

The Attack Surface Management (ASM) and Threat Intelligence (CTI) specialized conference 'CIPC 2025' was successfully held at the Grand InterContinental Parnas in Samseong-dong on the 6th. Hosted by AI cybersecurity specialist AI Spera (CEO Kang Byeong-tak), this event was attended by many key figures in the security industry.

At the conference, 10 industry leaders, including AI Spera's executives and development team leaders, the President's Cyber Special Advisor, and the CISOs of Toss and Hive, shared the latest cybersecurity trends and effective response strategies with attendees.

This conference, the first of its kind in Korea, specialized in ASM and CTI, became a venue for academia and industry to come together and discuss theories and practical application cases. The introduction of actual threat response cases using AI technology and OSINT-based Criminal IP platforms received a great response from attendees, and it was evaluated to have presented the future direction of cybersecurity by shedding light on attack surface management and threat intelligence utilization methods, which have emerged as key tasks in the security industry in 2025, from various perspectives.

The event began with a keynote speech by Jong-in Lim, special advisor to the president for cyber security and professor emeritus of Korea University’s Graduate School of Information Security. Next, AI Spera CEO Byung-tak Kang gave a presentation on how to utilize Criminal IP’s threat intelligence data in actual work, introducing practical use cases such as automatic firewall registration of C2 IP addresses, linkage with control systems, and establishment of detection rules through SIEM.

Professor Kim Hwi-gang of Korea University's Graduate School of Information Security and co-founder of AI Sphera presented a case study on the use of Criminal IP for K-content copyright protection, while Team Leader Lee Hye-won of the ASM Development Team and Team Leader Lee Jin-seok of the Engine Development Team each explained the main functions of Criminal IP ASM and information collection and management methods.

Customized security strategies for each industry, such as fintech, entertainment, and games, were also discussed in depth. Toss CISO Ji-ho Jeong and Hive CISO Yeo-seong Gu presented security threat response strategies for fintech services and authentication security strategies, respectively. Exware Labs CEO Young Yoon and Hanwha Solutions Pro In-hwan Park presented cases of corporate sensitive information leak threats using ASM and attack surface management methods within the information protection management system, while Nexon Korea Global Security Headquarters CERT Office Director Dong-chun Kim shared cases of operating a security purple team that implements a security system from a hacker’s perspective.

Meanwhile, AI Spera is expanding its services to 150 countries around the world by establishing strategic partnerships with over 40 global security companies, including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and VirusTotal, through Korea's first subscription-based (SaaS) TI·ASM solution, 'Criminal IP'.
