B.MyFriends, which develops and operates b.stage, and Makeus, which operates digital content media channel dingo, announced that they have signed a strategic partnership.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to strengthen their leadership in the music content fandom business. As the first step of the collaboration, Dingo will open an official fan community site (withdingo.com) through the B-Stage platform in early March.
Dingo has presented a variety of emotional and immersive content not only with top domestic artists such as IU, Sung Si-kyung, and Seventeen, but also with global artists such as Anne-Marie, Lauv, and Christopher. Representative content includes 'Killing Voice', 'Vertical Live', and 'Good Job Today', and these contents provide natural and sensual live experiences that go beyond the stereotypical format of existing broadcasters, and are loved by music fans around the world. In addition, Dingo has built a space that supports closer communication between fans and artists, providing music content that can be easily enjoyed in a mobile environment.
BSTAGE is a platform that provides services specialized in global fandom business such as content management, community building, and membership operation, and is developing fandom business in various fields such as K-POP, e-sports, and musicals. Recently, global stars such as G-DRAGON, Son Heung-min, and NE-YO have joined, establishing it as the industry's largest fandom platform where approximately 800 artists communicate with fans.
Through this collaboration, Bistage will provide various services that will strengthen communication between artists and fans based on Dingo’s rich music IP and content, and further enhance the fandom experience. In addition, Dingo plans to utilize Bistage’s fandom management solution to expand interaction with fans, strengthen loyalty, and promote global fandom expansion. To this end, it plans to collect stories of viewer participation content from global fans and continuously expand communication with fans through open events.
Makeus CEO Woo Sang-beom said, “We expect to expand Dingo’s differentiated music content and strengthen communication with global fans through collaboration with BSTAGE,” and “We will continue to explore new possibilities for the fandom business and increase our competitiveness in the global market.”
