Moray Acquires 'AWS Partner Software Pass' Certification

Moray , a company specializing in autonomous driving simulation, announced on the 6th that it has received the 'AWS Partner Software Path' certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Moray received this certification by passing the AWS FTR (Foundational Technical Review), a technology verification procedure within the AWS Partner Network (APN).

'AWS Partner Software Pass' is a framework that accelerates partnerships with AWS and supports business growth, and promotes cooperation in various fields such as solution building, training, consulting, and professional service provision. AWS FTR is a process that reviews whether software, applications, and solutions provided by AWS partners meet standards such as security, stability, and operational excellence in the AWS environment, and evaluates data protection, cost optimization, service availability, and performance stability. Through this certification, Morai has proven that its autonomous driving simulation software can be operated safely, reliably, scalably, and optimally in the AWS cloud environment.

Morai is a simulation and digital twin specialist company that can verify next-generation mobility systems such as autonomous vehicles, urban air mobility (UAM), and unmanned vehicles. It builds a high-precision digital twin environment to support verification of the entire process of autonomous driving system perception, judgment, and control in a virtual environment. Through this, various unexpected situations can be reproduced and safety and performance can be verified without actual road driving.

In addition, Morai simulation software is used to generate large-scale data for learning AI-based autonomous driving systems. In actual autonomous driving, it is difficult to obtain data in unexpected situations or accident situations due to safety and various physical constraints, but Morai generates AI learning data by simulating various conditions that can be encountered during weather conditions or driving. Through this, it is possible to determine how well autonomous vehicle algorithms work in various environments and contribute to the development of sophisticated and reliable autonomous driving systems.

Moray is working with AWS to provide a large-scale simulation test environment leveraging AWS cloud infrastructure. By leveraging AWS’s scalability and computing power, autonomous driving researchers can conduct simulation-based research more quickly and efficiently.

“With AWS Partner Software Pass certification, we have once again confirmed that Moray’s simulation platform is recognized for its reliability by global standards,” said Jeong Ji-won, CEO of Moray. “We plan to further strengthen our collaboration with AWS to expand our cloud-based simulation capabilities and provide our customers with the best virtual verification environment, thereby actively supporting customer growth and innovation in the mobility industry.”
