Narnia Labs (CEO Kang Nam-woo) and Recon Labs (CEO Ban Sung-hoon) announced on the 6th that they have signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) for 3D product design and manufacturing process innovation.
Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly develop a smart 3D creation and manufacturing automation solution that organically connects design and manufacturing by utilizing AI technology.
Narnia Labs is a company that is leading the innovation of product development process with generative AI technology for manufacturing. It provides AI solution that derives the optimal 3D design plan that is manufacturable while meeting engineering performance.
Recon Labs is a company with AI-based 3D creation technology that learns multimodal information such as images, sketches, and texts entered by users to help create products in 3D in the desired form. Using this technology, designers can quickly and precisely implement design ideas into 3D models.
The two companies aim to build an innovative AI-based design-to-manufacturing pipeline that combines Narnia Labs’ smart manufacturing technology with Recon Labs’ 3D creation technology to link designers’ 3D models directly to manufacturing.
In particular, we will focus on increasing the speed of product development and improving quality by having AI learn the designer's intentions to create optimal 3D product models and naturally lead this to the manufacturing stage.

With this MOU, the two companies will jointly pursue various projects that combine AI and 3D technology, and accelerate research and development to realize a fully automated process from design to manufacturing.
