ARGOS Identity, an AI-based identity platform company, announced on the 6th that it had been selected as a supplier for the '2025 Data Voucher Support Project.'
The AI Voucher Support Project is a government support program that connects suppliers with AI solutions and SMEs, ventures, and medium-sized companies that want to introduce AI, thereby reducing the initial cost burden and promoting the spread of domestic AI technology. Companies receiving support can use vouchers worth up to 200 million won to introduce products or services from AI solution suppliers. This project aims to promote digital transformation and spread AI technology, and will be operated for 7 months from May 1 to November 30.
Through this project, Argos Identity plans to expand the supply of its global identity authentication service, 'ID check'. Argos plans to support the rapid provision of customized solutions tailored to demand companies.
Argos is a startup that provides a comprehensive non-face-to-face identity verification (ekyc) service using ID recognition and facial recognition technology based on AI and data in a non-face-to-face environment. It currently provides an 'identity platform' that supports fast and accurate identity verification through its existing technology, and is securing clients in various industries.
In particular, Argos' ID check has been patented for 'User authentication method for eKYC automation' and is recognized for its reliability with 99.9% accuracy. In addition, Argos provides various identity prevention technologies such as face comparison, liveness detection, duplicate user and potential risk user detection.
Argos' services are provided in the form of SaaS (Software as a Service) and API, allowing flexible introduction to suit the internal construction environment of companies of various sizes and needs. Through this, companies can increase the speed of identity authentication processing, maximize operational efficiency through task automation, and at the same time expect cost reduction and enhanced security effects.
Son Seong-ho, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Argos Identity, said, “Through the AI voucher support project, we will actively support our clients’ business acceleration by making it easier for small and medium-sized companies to adopt AI technology and lowering the threshold for utilizing identity authentication.”
