AI education company Weverse Brain announced on the 6th that it was selected as a promising company in the edutech field for the '2025 Service BM Overseas Expansion Support Project' hosted by KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency).
The '2025 Service BM Overseas Expansion Support Project' is a program that supports domestic companies' overseas market entry and settlement, and targets small and medium-sized enterprises with promising overseas expansion, such as edutech, franchises, and ICT. The program selects companies through a rigorous screening process, and various types of support are provided to the selected companies.
Weverse Brain was selected as a promising company by KOTRA in recognition of its technological prowess in its AI tutor service 'Max AI' and its reward-based English learning service 'Money-making English'. In particular, its successful experience in entering Asian markets such as Japan and Vietnam and its potential for future expansion into the global market were highly evaluated.
With this selection, Weverse Brain will receive various support such as consulting for overseas localization, translation/dubbing, intellectual property rights application, and participation in overseas exhibitions. In addition, support such as local market research and buyer discovery using KOTRA’s 20 overseas bases is also planned.
Weverse Brain CEO Cho Se-won said, “The technology and competitiveness of ‘Speaking Max’ and ‘Max AI,’ which have secured 1.1 million cumulative members in Korea, have been recognized,” and added, “Through this support, we will accelerate our entry into overseas markets including Japan and Vietnam, and lead the globalization of K-Edu with differentiated AI technology.”
