The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Oh Young-joo, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups) announced that it will recruit small business owners to participate in the Online Brand Small Business Promotion Project (TOPS Program), which directly discovers and promotes small business owners with high growth potential, from the 6th to the 20th.
This support project is a project in which the government and the private sector (implementing agency) provide resources on a 1:1 matching basis to support 3,000 small business owners per year. It is a new project being promoted for the first time in 25 years as part of follow-up measures to the comprehensive measures for small business owners and the self-employed announced in July of last year.
The support will be implemented in three stages. In the first stage, 3,000 small business owners will be selected and the platform company will directly provide 1:1 customized consulting. In the second stage, 300 small business owners selected in the first stage will be selected again and promotional costs such as advertising and logistics costs will be supported to activate sales and maximize sales. In addition, dedicated funds will be linked and supported.
In the final third stage, we will select 30 'TOPS of the Year' companies and provide support for small business owners to grow into small businesses through special exhibitions and offline pop-up stores. In addition, in addition to government support, private platform companies, which are implementing agencies, will also provide customized specialized programs that they have autonomously organized for each stage to the selected small business owners.

Small business owners who wish to participate in the business can apply through the Panpandaero website , and when applying, they can select the platform they wish to operate. If they have a domestic production brand (Made in Korea), they will be awarded extra points (5 points).

After application and receipt, the final selection of support recipients will be made through document review and evaluation by product planning experts from each platform company, and support will begin at the end of March.
Hwang Young-ho, head of the Small Business Management Stability Support Team, said, “The Tops program is conducted in a way that small business owners select the top-tier platform company of their choice, form a team, and seek step-by-step growth. We hope that participating small business owners will be able to maximize online sales, grow their brands, and debut as online star small business owners.”
