Kim Seong-seop, Vice Minister of SMEs and Startups, attended the opening ceremony of the 'Korea Market Expo 2025' (hereinafter referred to as the Market Expo) held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 5th.
The 'National Market Expo', which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, is Korea's representative public procurement fair that supports the entry of innovative small and medium-sized venture companies' products into domestic and international public procurement markets.
On this day, Vice Minister Kim Seong-seop said in his opening ceremony speech, “The public procurement market is an initial sales channel for small and medium-sized and venture companies, and it serves as a strong growth ladder for small and medium-sized and venture companies.” He added, “The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will work harder to support small and medium-sized and venture companies so that they can grow through the public procurement market.”
He also said, “I hope that the National Market Expo will widely publicize the excellence of small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies and provide opportunities for them to open up new markets and expand overseas.”
After the opening ceremony, Vice Minister Kim Seong-seop toured the main booths with attendees, inspected excellent products from small and medium-sized enterprises participating in the National Market Expo, and encouraged small and medium-sized enterprise owners.
