The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Oh Young-joo) announced that it will recruit stores to participate in the '2025 Smart Store Technology Dissemination Project' support project from the 7th to the 21st.
The Smart Store Technology Dissemination Project is a project that supports the digital transformation of small businesses by supporting the introduction of smart technologies such as kiosks and serving robots to small business establishments and helps them become competitive in the digital age.
This recruitment focuses on small business owners who will participate in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription program that provides functions such as store management and marketing support.
In addition, in order to support small business owners’ response to the revised enforcement of the ‘Prohibition of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities Act,’ we plan to recruit small business owners who wish to distribute barrier-free kiosks to improve accessibility, and we have diversified our support methods, such as supporting not only the cost of purchasing kiosks but also the cost of renting them.
Selected stores can receive support of 70-100% of the cost of introducing smart technology, up to a maximum of 5 million won, and vulnerable groups can receive support of up to 80%.
Applications for support can be submitted from the 7th to the 21st on the Small Business Smart Store website . Afterwards, the small business owners eligible for support will be selected through document evaluation, and contracts will be signed with technology suppliers before smart technologies are distributed starting in May.
Meanwhile, for products other than service-type software and barrier-free kiosks, such as serving robots, electronic whiteboards, QR orders, and access authentication systems, we plan to support small business owners through additional recruitment in the future.
