Seoul Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Lee Young-geun) announced that it is recruiting for the '2025 Local Creator Development Project (Individual/Collaborative)' until March 11.
The 'Local Creator Development Project' is overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and managed by the Small Business Market Promotion Agency, and is managed by six Creative Economy Innovation Centers (Seoul, Gangwon, Sejong, Gyeongbuk, Jeonnam, and Jeju) by region. 'Local Creator' is a business that supports companies that create business value by combining local natural and cultural characteristics with ideas. Recruitment is divided into individual and collaborative types. In the case of individual type, one company participates alone, and in the case of collaborative type, two or more small business owners form a team and apply. Applicants are small business owners (those who can issue a small business owner certificate) who have a business model that utilizes resources in the metropolitan area.
Selected companies will be provided with up to 40 million won in individual business funds and up to 70 million won in collaborative business funds, and the Seoul Center will support various education, mentoring, regional linkage programs, and festival participation programs to strengthen the business viability of companies.
In order to expand opportunities for participation by small business owners, the Small Business Market Promotion Agency has extended the application period to 4:00 PM on March 11, and applicants who wish to participate can apply online through the Small Business 24 website.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation will hold an online business briefing session for those who have applied in advance at 10:00 AM on March 6 to help small business owners apply for business.
