Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center, INNOX and 'INNOX Open Innovation 4th' Participating Companies Recruitment

The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereinafter referred to as the 'Gyeonggi Innovation Center') and Innox Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Inox') announced on the 4th that they are recruiting companies to participate in the 'INNOX Open Innovation 4th'.

The 'INNOX Open Innovation Program' is a strategic investment-type open innovation program developed in collaboration between INNOX and the Gyeonggi Innovation Center. Its unique feature is that it discovers promising startups and provides investment and acceleration at the same time through a pre-investment and post-support method. This program, which is in its fourth year, has selected 13 startups and provided strategic investment and acceleration support, and the selected companies have achieved excellent results, such as winning the CES Innovation Award every year.

This year, we plan to raise 2.6 billion won in investment funds to select promising startups, make advance investments in the selected companies, and then support their continued growth through acceleration. In addition, we plan to support their entry into the global market and technology promotion by providing opportunities to exhibit and participate in the global exhibition, CES 2026.

In addition to this, we plan to support the growth of startups in various ways through various opportunities such as moving into childcare spaces in Pangyo, linking with large companies’ open innovation, and linking with TIPS and follow-up investments.

The recruitment target is ▲AI ▲secondary batteries ▲future innovation industries (advanced IT, materials, parts, equipment, mobility, etc.) ▲robots ▲semiconductor companies, targeting companies that possess or can apply technology in the relevant fields. The recruitment period is until April 6.

Since 2019, Innox has been actively investing in secondary batteries and AI-based future industries, and is contributing to the activation of the startup and investment ecosystem through the TIPS program operator consortium, the mother fund fund investor, and the Industrial Bank of Korea’s Next Round and Next Rise programs. This year, Innox plans to establish a startup incubation space in its new Pangyo building and strengthen activities to activate the startup and investment ecosystem.

The person in charge of open innovation at the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “Through the 4th INNOX Open Innovation, we will strengthen cooperation between promising startups and INNOX and provide real growth opportunities.” He added, “We will focus on supporting startups to become competitive in the market and discovering promising companies that will lead future industries together with INNOX.”
