On February 25, the Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency (GCA) signed a partnership agreement with global game investment platform company Xsolla Korea at the Gyeonggi Content Korea Lab in Pangyo to promote investment attraction opportunities for content companies in the province.
This agreement was made as part of the 'Gyeonggi Level Up Invest Partners (G-VIP)' program that Gyeonggi-do Convergence has been operating since 2023. Including this agreement, Gyeonggi-do Convergence plans to build a public-private cooperation network of a total of 81 companies and activate the investment ecosystem for content companies in the province.
Solar Korea is a global investment platform that connects game developers, investors, and publishers. Through this agreement, it plans to strengthen support for the global market growth and investment linkage of Gyeonggi-do content companies.
CEO Tak Yong-seok of Konjin said, “This will serve as a stepping stone to support Gyeonggi-do game companies to successfully grow in the global market and actively attract investment.” An official from Exola Korea pledged active cooperation, saying, “We are happy to help Gyeonggi-do’s capable developers attract investment.”
Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency plans to continue to support investment attraction for content companies in the province through the ‘Gyeonggi Level Up Program’ in 2025. Related business announcements can be found on the Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency website in April.
