WDT Attracts Seed Investment

WDTT, which operates the AI-based senior care service 'Everyone's Care', announced on the 4th that it has attracted seed investment from Mashup Ventures and Digital Healthcare Partners (DHP).

'Everyone's Care' is an AI-based senior total care solution that supports efficient communication and work management between families, caregivers, and care centers. This service is innovating the existing analog-centered care industry method by providing functions such as automatically generating care plans by reflecting interview data analysis and complex care insurance systems, optimal matching of caregivers, and digitalization of care records.

WDT is targeting the Japanese market, which has a similar long-term care insurance system to Korea, and plans to conduct a PoC (verification process before introducing new technologies) with local facilities in Japan in April. This year, the plan is to expand the cooperative facilities, focusing on the Shinjuku and Setagaya areas.

CEO Lim Seok-jun said, “I have had a continuous interest in the senior care market while obtaining my own nursing assistant license, and decided to start a business to solve structural problems based on technology,” adding, “Our ultimate goal is to create a systematic environment where everyone can have a happy nursing life.”

“Japan’s nursing care market is growing rapidly due to the rapid aging of its population, but the system still adheres to an analog method, so we believed there was great opportunity in the market,” said In Sang-hyeok, partner at Mashup Ventures, who led this investment. “We made this investment after highly evaluating the local entry capabilities and business sincerity of the founder, who has experience in B2C and B2B businesses in the Japanese market.”
