ITNJ Signs Business Agreement with Neowise

ITNJ and Neowise announced on February 28 that they signed a business agreement (MOU) for joint development of an industrial robot vision system. The two companies are graduates of the G&G School startup education program, and through this agreement, they aim to develop an innovative vision system utilizing Edge AI technology, thereby increasing energy efficiency and reducing costs.

The main goal of this agreement is the development of an Edge AI-based real-time robot vision system. Existing AI vision technologies have high computational load and network dependency issues, but through this collaboration, ITNJ and Neowise plan to build an AI vision system that can process and respond in real time on-site while reducing cloud dependency. This system is expected to increase the speed of industrial automation and enable precise quality inspection.

ITNJ is leading the innovation of productivity and quality in the manufacturing industry in the fields of smart factories and AI vision systems, and plans to develop AI-based inspection and automation technologies centered on Edge AI through this collaboration. Neowise is a company with strengths in developing real-time optimization solutions using AI-based active learning and automatic learning and Edge AI vision technology, and possesses technology that supports robots to perform optimal tasks in changing industrial environments.

The collaboration between ITNJ and Neowise will be a significant turning point in advancing AI vision technology beyond simple inspection functions to AI robot vision systems that learn and optimize themselves. In particular, the main goal is to reduce energy consumption and operating costs in industrial sites by applying Edge AI-based vision technology, which will be a key element for industrial automation and the development of efficient robot vision systems.

ITNJ CEO Yang Hee-jong said, “Neowise’s Edge AI-based automatic learning vision technology will be combined with ITNJ’s smart factory and AI vision technology to create a new paradigm for industrial automation.” He also said, “We will develop the technology to strengthen the competitiveness of vision inspection and robot automation and maximize energy efficiency.”

Neowise CEO Shin Dong-hyeok said, “Through this agreement, we will develop a next-generation robot vision system that combines Active Learning and Edge AI technologies, and contribute to taking the level of AI automation in the manufacturing industry to the next level.” He also emphasized, “Through this collaboration, both companies will present competitive AI vision solutions in the global market.”
