Human Technology announced on the 28th through a public disclosure that it has completed the acquisition process of ‘Agos’, a company specializing in anti-drone and next-generation radio communication systems.
This acquisition of Agos is interpreted as a strategic decision by Human Technology to maximize business synergy in the anti-drone sector and accelerate its entry into domestic and international markets. On February 11, Human Technology decided to acquire a 100% stake in Agos for approximately KRW 23 billion.
Agos is a company that possesses various self-developed products such as the comprehensive anti-drone system (C-UAS) 'Spider Shield', electromagnetic wave measurement and monitoring system, mobile radio environment measurement system, and communication signal measurement and analysis solution. In particular, Spider Shield is a system that integrates core equipment for drone and unmanned reconnaissance aircraft threat defense such as RF scanner, C2 software, EO/IR camera, RF jammer, and GNSS spoofer, and is a product that is receiving high interest in introduction both domestically and internationally.
Last year, Human Technology announced plans to build an integrated solution capable of drone detection, identification, and neutralization at 'KADEX 2024', the largest global defense exhibition in Asia. At the time, Human Technology stated that it would secure competitiveness in the global market by advancing anti-drone technology and solutions, and the company explained that this acquisition of Agos was made as part of the expansion of related businesses.
A Human Technology official said, “As drone technology continues to develop, the anti-drone industry that defends against it is also growing rapidly,” and “Not only at KADEX 2024, but also at the recent ‘International Defense Exhibition (IDEX 2025)’ held in the UAE, interest in drones and anti-drone solutions was the highest.” He added, “Through this acquisition of Agos, our anti-drone business capabilities have been further strengthened, and we will maximize business synergy by working closely with specialized companies in related fields, including Agos.”
