Giro wins 'iF Design Award 2025'

Jiro, which operates the Asian video stock service 'Dropshotstock', announced on the 28th that it won the 'iF Design Award 2025', one of the world's top three design awards.

The winning work this time is 'Dropshot Stock', a Korean-style video stock platform operated by Jiro, and is analyzed to be the result of the platform's content-centered design and user experience (UX) being recognized internationally.

The iF Design Award is one of the world's most prestigious design awards, which began in Germany in 1953. Every year, it awards a selection of designs based on innovation and excellence from works received from all over the world. This year, 16,511 entries were submitted from 66 countries for the iF Design Award, and Dropshot Stock was honored with the award amid fierce competition.

Dropshot Stock provides stock footage that can be used commercially without worrying about copyright, and is gaining attention by emphasizing the competitiveness of K-content in the existing Western-centered stock footage market.

“We focused on implementing a content-centered design that highlights Korean beauty while maintaining a user experience (UX) that meets global standards,” said Jang Se-yoon, design part leader who led the design of Dropshot Stock.
