Artificial Intelligence Factory Co., Ltd. announced on the 28th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SoylabX Co., Ltd. to build a generative AI platform.
This agreement was signed at the headquarters of Artificial Intelligence Factory, Inc., and was attended by Artificial Intelligence Factory CEO Taeyoung Kim, SoylabX CEO Donhyun Choi, Artificial Intelligence Factory PM Hoyeol Park, and SoylabX researchers Wonho Kim and Joohyeon Song.
According to the agreement, SoylabX Co., Ltd. will provide 'comfyUI', a high-quality practical content creation technology based on generative AI, and Artificial Intelligence Factory Co., Ltd. will be responsible for building a generative AI inference platform in an on-premise environment.
SoylabX Co., Ltd. is a company that uses 'comfyUI' to produce content, conduct education, and develop processes. ComfyUI is a user interface (GUI) tool designed to intuitively use the image generation model based on Stable Diffusion. Through this, users can visually manipulate and optimize the image generation process through a node-based interface.
Through this agreement, AI Factory plans to launch the first on-premise comfyUI-based generative AI platform service in Korea within the year. The initial platform has been built, and we plan to continue technical cooperation for advancement. The main functions supported by the platform include ‘Text to Image’ for converting text into images, ‘Upscale’ for resolution expansion and image quality improvement, ‘Face Swap’ for face replacement, and ‘Face Animation’ for face animation, and various image generation, face transformation, and expression change technologies can be utilized through user prompt input.
Kim Tae-young, CEO of Artificial Intelligence Factory, said, “We will continue to strive to provide stable and efficient generative AI solutions specialized for on-premise environments,” and “This agreement will bring about new changes to the domestic AI market.”
“We will showcase high-quality content production technology that can be applied across education and industry by utilizing comfyUI,” said Don-Hyeon Choi, CEO of SoylabX. “We expect that this collaboration will enable the production of creative and innovative content in various fields.”
