Grep, the first DevCourse Career Talk event of the year will be held on the 7th of next month

– Introduction of AI-era programmer survival strategies to increase development productivity, such as AI pair programming, for IT job seekers
– Real-time panel talk with current developers, welcome kits, limited goods, etc. for offline participants

Grep (CEO Seongsu Lim), which operates Programmers, a platform for training, evaluating, and recruiting software developers, announced on the 27th that it will hold its first 'DevCourse Career TALK event' of the year on the 7th of next month, both online and offline, under the theme of 'Developer Survival Strategies Taught by Current Developers – AI Pair Programming.'

Devcourse is a career support special lecture hosted by Programmers that is provided free of charge for junior developers and young people who wish to find employment in the IT industry in Korea.

This event, now in its third year, will be attended by speakers including Engineer Indo Yoon, currently working at a global company, and Programmers’ Seonhee Lee, Head of the DevCourse Education and Development Support Team, who will share various development productivity enhancement know-hows necessary for building the careers of developers in the AI era.

First, Engineer Yoon In-do will introduce developer survival strategies using 'AI pair programming' from the perspective of a current engineer in the first session. After that, in the second session, he will hold a real-time Q&A panel talk with participants. Team Leader Lee Seon-hee of Programmers will be in charge of the third session, and will share the current state of the developer recruitment market, including the recent trends in the software developer recruitment market and the impact of generative AI on the changes in the recruitment market.

This event, which will be held both online and offline, is planned to accommodate approximately 560 people. 60 people will be selected through a lottery for the offline event, and up to 500 people can participate online on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will also be special benefits for offline event participants. There will be the opportunity to participate in a panel talk where you can have a Q&A with current developers as speakers in real time, as well as limited edition Programmers goods, and there will be prizes such as AirPods 4 (1 person) and Programmers auxiliary batteries (20 people) through a raffle on the day. In addition, all event attendees will be provided with a Programmers Dev Course welcome kit and light refreshments.
