L&F participates in 'Interbattery 2025'

L&F , a global secondary battery comprehensive materials company, announced that it will participate in 'InterBattery 2025' held at COEX in Seoul from March 5th to 7th. L&F plans to present its next-generation battery material technology and global production system in a 270㎡ standalone booth, which is approximately 3.75 times larger than last year.

L&F’s exhibition space consists of four areas: ▲Innovating the Future (NCM/LFP cathode materials), ▲Global Energy Drive (overseas LFP cathode material business), ▲Sustainable Future (new business), and ▲Vision for Tomorrow (future vision). The cathode material exhibition zone will introduce L&F’s unique LFP method technology that has secured both production efficiency and price competitiveness by increasing productivity compared to before. L&F is currently building an LFP cathode material pilot line (Mass Pilot) in its third factory in Daegu, and aims to be the first in Korea to mass produce LFP in 2026.

High-Ni composite cathode materials will also be exhibited. This is a technology targeting the electric vehicle market, and is a product that dramatically improves energy density, battery life, and safety compared to existing high-nickel products. In recognition of this innovative technology, L&F won the Material/Component category at the 'InterBattery Awards 2025'.

In the 'Sustainable Future (New Business Zone),' LS-L&F Battery Solutions (LLBS) will reveal its precursor business, waste battery recycling business, and the status of its next-generation secondary battery material technology research and development. In addition, in the 'Vision for Tomorrow (Future Vision Zone),' the status of smart factory construction and future production systems will be introduced through factory drone footage.

L&F CEO Choi Soo-an emphasized, “This exhibition is a place to showcase L&F’s innovative achievements that are opening up the future of battery material technology in line with the theme of ‘Leading the Future,’” and “Korea’s first mass production of LFP cathode materials and the world’s first commercialization of high-nickel composite cathode active materials are achievements that represent our will for innovation and technological prowess.” He added, “Based on the differentiated technologies and global production systems revealed through this exhibition, we will leap forward as a global leader.”
