Wins and Aconsoft announced on the 27th that they signed a business agreement (MOU) to develop security solutions for PaaS-based cloud environments and to enhance cloud security.
This agreement was signed in response to the growing demand for scalability, flexibility, and agility in cloud systems, as well as the growing demand for cloud native. Cloud native refers to a software approach that uses cloud technology to build, deploy, and manage modern applications.
Acornsoft is a cloud specialist company that developed 'Cocktail Cloud', Korea's first cloud native platform as a service (PaaS). 'Cocktail Cloud' is a container-based PaaS solution that provides a platform that supports easier construction and operation of cloud natives.
Based on over 30 years of network security experience, Wins has been expanding its business area into cloud security and cloud MSP since 2022, strengthening its capabilities as a cloud service provider.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to expand their cloud native construction business in the public and private sectors, and collaborate on providing and operating PaaS platforms and security solutions for PaaS cloud environments with enhanced security. Through this, they plan to enhance the security of cloud native services and introduce them to the market.
Wins Vice President Park Ki-dam said, “We will actively utilize Wins’ security capabilities to quickly respond to the diverse needs of the cloud native market and build a safe cloud environment in digital transformation.”
Acornsoft CEO Youngsoo Lee said, “Through this agreement, we will strengthen our collaboration with Wins so that customers who have had difficulties with digital transformation due to security and operational efficiency issues can more easily implement cloud native.”
