Nota announced on the 27th that it has entered into a strategic partnership with EverFocus, a global smart security and transportation technology company. Through this partnership, the two companies plan to accelerate the global expansion of AI-based smart transportation safety technology.
The two companies have experience deploying Nota’s Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Everfocus’s Edge Computing solution at ‘Smart Nation Malaysia 2024’ held in Malaysia in November last year. Based on this, the two companies plan to actively pursue global market expansion in the autonomous driving and smart transportation sectors.
Nota is a technology company that provides on-device generative AI solutions to various industries such as transportation, IoT, mobile, and robotics based on its proprietary AI model optimization platform, NetsPresso®. It has secured global semiconductor companies such as NVIDIA, Arm, Qualcomm, Sony, and Samsung Electronics as its main customers.
Through this agreement, Nota's DMS will run on Everfocus' EAC-30N edge computer, which features the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX chip and boasts a computing performance of up to 100 TOPS. This supports ▲precise driver status analysis ▲high energy efficiency ▲real-time detection through high-speed inference. In addition, Nota DMS is a driver monitoring solution optimized for various hardware, and it is lightweight through the Netpresso platform to deliver high performance even on low-spec edge devices.
