Telepix Partners with Planet Labs

Satellite total solution company Telefix announced on the 27th that it has signed a partnership for the supply of Earth observation data. Through this partnership, Telefix will receive stable satellite raw data from Planet Labs (hereinafter referred to as Planet), a satellite data and insight provider. Telefix will process Planet’s data with its own technology and sell it to countries, organizations, and companies around the world. In addition, it plans to register Telefix’s satellite processing software on the Planet platform to provide services to global customers.

Planet operates hundreds of small satellites, providing imagery from all over the planet. It partners with a variety of global companies and government agencies to provide insights in areas such as agriculture, supply chain management, defense, and intelligence. Planet carefully evaluates its partners, and Telepix has proven its expertise in satellite solutions and analytics through several key projects.

This partnership signing ceremony was held on the 26th (local time) at the 'Global Space Technology Convention (GSTC 2025)' held in Singapore, and was attended by Telepix CEO Cho Seong-ik, Global Business Division Director Jeon Seung-hwan, and Planet Labs Asia Sales Director Kian Kang.

“Planet Labs is an important data provider in the field of Earth observation, and this agreement will enable a stable supply of data,” said Telepix CEO Cho Sung-ik. “This partnership is significant in that it acknowledges Telepix’s Earth observation data processing capabilities.”

“We look forward to leveraging Planet Data’s capabilities across key industries by combining Planet’s Earth observation data with Telepix’s satellite solutions and analytics,” said Kian Kang, Planet’s Director of Sales.
