The Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency (hereafter, the Promotion Agency) held a business briefing session for the Startup Leap Package on the 25th. A total of 100 people including startup representatives, related organizations, and reporters attended the event. The Promotion Agency has been the main organization for the Startup Leap Package for 9 consecutive years and is the representative startup support organization in the Gwangju area that supports everything from content to ICT/IT.
The briefing session held on this day was conducted in the following order: ▲Part 1: Introduction to the support and facilities of the Promotion Agency, ▲Part 2: Briefing session and Q&A on the Startup Leap Package business, and ▲Part 3: 1:1 consultation with the responsible agency.
The Startup Leap Package is a business that provides business model innovation and product/service advancement to leap companies with promising technology startup items that are 3 to 7 years old. The number of people who can be selected by the Promotion Agency has increased significantly from last year to 33.
This leap package supports the selected candidates with various programs, such as IR data advancement consulting: Investment Midas, support program for overseas market development: Global Columbus, cloud support for advancement: Specialized AlphaGo, open innovation for exchanges with large corporations: Carnegie Connect, and support for expansion into new markets through marketing support: Marketing Commerce.
Through the Fast Track system, those who are selected for the 2022~2024 Early Startup Package (including startup-centered universities) or meet certain requirements such as having 10 or more employees are eligible to volunteer. The Success Return Type is reviewed only for applicants for support in the relevant field, and if selected, up to 50% of the government subsidy will be provided as additional business expenses. There is a Success Return Fund (up to 50%) that must be returned if a 'success' decision is made in the final evaluation. If you give up the Success Return Type, the General Type will also be canceled, so please be careful.
