Anthropic Hosts 'Korea Builder Summit'

Anthropic, the developer of AI assistant Claude and a leading company in safe and ethical AI systems, announced on the 26th that it will hold the 'Korea Builder Summit' at Signiel Seoul on March 19th.

This summit is the first event hosted by Anthropic for Korean AI developers, technology leaders, and media, and is held in collaboration with Coxwave (CEO Joo-won Kim), a leading AI safety company in Korea. Anthropic will present Claude’s sophisticated capabilities and Anthropic’s cutting-edge research results to Korea at this event.

Claude has sophisticated reasoning skills, contextual understanding, and the ability to accurately handle complex tasks. Based on a deep understanding of the Korean language and culture, he not only provides accurate translations, but also effectively supports localization in the Korean market by considering cultural characteristics in business communication. The Constitutional AI framework adopted by Claude demonstrates Antropic’s will to pursue responsible AI technology innovation that respects the characteristics of each culture as an optimized partner for Korean companies.

This summit will be attended by many of Anthropic’s key members, including Instagram co-founder and Anthropic’s CPO Mike Krieger and Head of Revenue Kate Earle Jensen. The summit will share AI development and Anthropic’s future vision, and discuss with Korean technology leaders how Claude is transforming business operations and development workflows across industries. In particular, it is expected that many Korean startup communities will attend, providing an opportunity to directly communicate with Anthropic’s leadership and research team.

“Korean companies are already at the forefront of AI innovation, developing notable applications leveraging Cloud,” said Jo Zhu, Head of Startup Growth and Partnerships at Antropic. “Antropic is confident in Korea’s robust AI ecosystem and recognizes that Korea will shape the future of AI as a global technology hub.”

“Entropic’s entry into the Korean market will be a significant milestone for the domestic AI ecosystem,” said Joo-won Kim, CEO of Coxwave. “This event will bring together Korea’s innovative AI community and global leaders in safe and capable AI systems, and this partnership demonstrates Korea’s growing importance as a key hub for responsible AI development.”
